The Walking Cyborg (WKCB) is the 2023 collection of Le Suivant, the streetwear label I co-founded with Justin Huang. It follows a cyborg from birth towards humanity across a tee, a polo, a bomber and shorts, turning circuit boards, RAM, GPU chips and motherboards into screen prints and rubberised tags.

The Walking Cyborg is the second collection from Le Suivant. It begins with the first creation of artificial life — a baby cyborg — and follows it as it grows towards something human.

Four garments tell the story: a tee, a polo, a bomber and a pair of shorts. Along the way, circuit boards, RAM, GPU chips and motherboards turn into screen prints and rubberised tags.

Visualizer

For the campaign, the Le Suivant logo was rendered in three finishes, each colour carrying its own mood.

Blue is often perceived as the colour of calmness and stability — Chrome ‘Round’ Outdoors.

Red is lively, dangerous and blazing — Liquid ‘Vivid’ Fire. The baby cyborg turns red when it’s angry.

Purple is often associated with luxury, power and ambition — Chrome ‘Round’ Mountains.

0201 — Tee

“Birth”

All journeys start by being born, gaining consciousness and… existing. This washed, oversized T-shirt is about the first creation of artificial life: the birth of a baby cyborg.

On the front, a screen-printed baby with circuit chips running from its eyes to its heart. Its looming, blurred appearance corresponds to its upcoming presence.

On the back, a rubberised computer RAM extends into a screen-printed motherboard glowing in cyan — the tranquillity before liveliness.

0302 — Polo

“Butterfly Effect”

The term “artificial intelligence” dates back to 1956 — the year printed across this polo. The oversized cut is a tribute to the evolution of AI, and its light, blanched-almond brown feels retro and modern at once.

Polo shirts are usually uncomfortable, so I built this one on 100% mesh cotton — extremely breathable and comfortable, while keeping the oversized silhouette.

‘The Butterfly Effect’ is screen-printed on the back: our small explorations, driven by curiosity, growing from a single focal point into a global movement.

0403 — Bomber

“Chip Body”

Designed around three principles: maximum comfort, vivid texture and strong visual impact.

The body is hard denim; the sleeves are soft synthetic leather, so the arms move freely. The brand’s classic LS monogram is embroidered on the front to add visual depth.

A screen-printed GPU chip on the back ties it to the story — as if you are the walking cyborg humanity needs. A faded jet print enriches the texture, conveying strength above the rough denim.

0504 — Shorts

“Cyborg Classic”

Available in cyan and black, the shorts are made from premium elastic cotton that keeps the visual texture of high-end streetwear with the practical function of sports shorts: flexible, breathable and durable.

The front stays minimal — only the collection’s name — while the back carries the motherboard motif that runs through the whole collection. Wear them, and you are one of The Walking Cyborgs.
